How shared experiences strengthen team spirit

At Märtens, we attach great importance to team spirit and community, which is why we regularly create special moments outside of a purely professional context.

Twice a year, all of our sales employees - from different countries - come together in one place: from back office and field sales to product management, sales management and management.

These meetings focus on current topics such as software innovations, self-management and product innovations. The aim is to share knowledge, strengthen interfaces and jointly provide impetus for further development. An integral part of these meetings is always a joint event that promotes team spirit and cohesion. This year, we travelled to the Hamburg Hallig, where we experienced nature up close as part of a guided mudflat hike and rounded off the day with lunch together at the Hallig-Krog. For us, this format is much more than just a meeting - it is an investment in the exchange, motivation and loyalty of our employees.

A meal together also brings us together

Another important format for promoting team spirit was our joint lunch break at the end of May, to which all employees at our Flensburg headquarters were invited: At the joint company barbecue - during working hours - not only was the barbecue fired up, but team spirit was also strengthened. With tasty delicacies, good conversation and a relaxed atmosphere, we wanted to say thank you - for the daily commitment, for the cooperation and for the dedication of each individual.

Such shared experiences in everyday working life are important to us, as they promote dialogue, strengthen team spirit and make a lasting contribution to employee satisfaction and loyalty. It's great that so many people took part - we look forward to the next joint event!
