The welding press is used for the continuous welding of conveyor belts - a central process that requires both expertise and technical skill. The training therefore combined practical exercises with in-depth theoretical expertise on the operation, maintenance and optimum use of the machine. Our aim was not just to teach manual skills, but to create a holistic understanding of our technology.

Of course, the sample tapes to be welded were then cut personally by each individual participant - including the finger joint. They were also able to try out the necessary tools such as finger punches and punching knives.
Training courses: exciting and varied
As with every Märtens training course, the programme also included a tour of the company - with exciting insights into our production and an overview of our diverse product portfolio.
And because personal interaction is also a must, we rounded off the intensive training day with a convivial dinner overlooking Flensburg harbour - relaxed, North German and warm.
