Small change, big impact
Our customers on the domestic German market naturally know us as Märtens. But abroad, the umlaut poses challenges for non-native speakers, so we have been known as "Martens" in the UK, France and the USA, for example, for some time now. As an internationally active company, we are now taking this into account - by focussing our revised logo on the name lettering. The 'Ä' dots are still there, but more as a subtle hint.
We have also shortened our claim to "Innovation since 1929". This makes it even more catchy and memorable. At the same time, it now focuses on the aspect of innovation, because our focus on progress has ultimately brought us to where we are today: at the point of a global industry and in the minds of numerous customers from all corners of the world.
