The vocatium takes place annually and is aimed at all young people of career choice age. Various offers are presented on the topics of career choice and career paths. Visitors can find out about apprenticeships and degree programmes, as well as voluntary work, internships and stays abroad. The event is therefore the perfect opportunity for companies from the region to present themselves and their training programmes. Märtens has been on board since 2023 - and of course we were also represented this year.

Märtens presented itself at the vocatium
A key feature of vocatium is the opportunity to arrange appointments for a mutual exchange. In this way, students can get to know companies and career paths in a targeted manner and make the best possible use of their time. Around 50 meetings with our training counsellors were requested in advance and we are very pleased about the lively interest.
Future-orientated training at Märtens
Our industrial mechanic apprenticeship (m/f/d) and the dual study programme in business administration were particularly popular. The young people asked many questions about earning opportunities, the respective requirements for the professions and about our products and services.
Our training advisors were able to conduct many high-quality discussions and Märtens was able to present itself as a training company and employer. Among other things, we were able to arrange internships with three interested parties in order to get to know each other better. The fair was also a good platform for exchanging ideas with other Flensburg companies.
