We are very proud of the fact that some of our employees have been with us for many years. Nevertheless, long service anniversaries never lose their special character - like that of Michale Grenz, who celebrates 30 years of service with us in February. Michael works as a machine setter in the bar mesh belt department. Among other things, he sets up the production lines according to the customer's order data and carries out quality checks on the belts.

Experience by the belt
What he particularly appreciates about his work at Märtens is the collegiality, the introduction of new technologies and the independent development of solutions. Above all, the continuous technical innovations in the production lines make his work varied and exciting.
In his free time, Michael Grenz enjoys spending time with friends on the racetrack. There he is part of a racing team and takes on the role of mechanic. He ensures that the team motorbike completes the 400 metres in drag racing in a rapid 8.5 seconds.
