Kay Malzahn started his career at Märtens on 1 August 1979, when he noticed the company on his way to school - through employees playing football on the company premises during the breaks. As he wanted to pursue a commercial career anyway, he applied for an apprenticeship without further ado. During his training, he worked in various departments, including production, and was then assigned to the internal sales department. After some time, he took over his own sales area and switched to field sales.

Together with his colleagues Josep Garcia and Tony Gibson, Kay Malzahn looks after various international markets, including the Benelux countries, Italy, the UK, Spain and America. He particularly enjoys the varied tasks and the constant stream of new projects - as well as the close collaboration with his colleagues.
In his free time, Kay Malzahn enjoys spending time with family and friends. He also keeps fit by cycling and going to the gym.
