Together, they therefore decided to replace the previous closed PU conveyor belt with a rod network belt. Thanks to the open structure of this belt, loose crumbs can be removed in advance, preventing them from entering the enrobing system in the first place. This significantly reduces the number of cleaning breaks and therefore saves considerable costs.
Rod network belts: Hygienic and versatile
Our rod network belts are made from either spring steel, stainless steel or our innovative K2390 material and are, of course, approved for foodstuffs in accordance with Regulation (EC) 1935/2004. As already mentioned, these conveyor belts are characterised by a permeable structure. This makes them ideal for enrobing, glazing and scattering processes as well as for use in ovens, cooling tunnels, soldering systems and drying channels.
The ECO rod network belt is the economical recommendation for standard applications, while the ELT version (Extended Life Time) is the right choice for higher loads. Here, additional short individual meshes provide additional nodes and thus increased stability. In addition, belt changes can be carried out more quickly - splicing times can be reduced by up to 80 %. If changes of direction are required, we offer these conveyor belts as rod network corner belts.
