Rod network belts are true all-rounders – and, of course, approved for food contact in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004. Depending on the material grade, they meet a wide range of requirements and can be used in a variety of processes. A key feature of this product category is its open-mesh and particularly hygienic design, making it the ideal choice for coating, glazing and sprinkling processes. However, rod network belts from Märtens also perform impressively in ovens, cooling tunnels, soldering systems and drying channels. Depending on the material, the belts can withstand operating temperatures ranging from -80°C to +280°C.

Our rod network belts are available in three product categories: The ECO is the economical version for standard applications; the ELT (Extended Life Time), which features additional short individual meshes for extra nodes and thus increased stability, can also withstand higher loads. A further advantage over the ECO is the much faster belt changes – connection times can be reduced by up to 80%.

Finally, the rod network corner belts are the hygienic solution for changing direction or transporting hot products around curves.

Optionally, the belts can also be fitted with points, so that even demanding production processes are no problem. Combination with guide chains and carriers is also possible. And that’s not all, as the materials used also ensure flexibility in production: you can choose from spring steel wire, stainless steel wire and our innovative material K2390. The latter is recommended wherever high corrosion resistance is required, such as when using fruit acids or aggressive cleaning agents.
