Christmas greetings

Märtens wishes you happy holidays

Where has the time gone? You hear this question almost every day in December. We are also surprised at how quickly the holidays and New Year's Eve are approaching.

Once again, a special year is coming to an end - with many challenges and exciting projects, loyal regular customers and innovative products. After the pandemic years, we are delighted that numerous trade fairs are finally taking place again. We were in Düsseldorf at Interpack, in Munich at iba, presented our company at Gulfood in Dubai and attended other events. The fact that this dialogue - with customers and other decision-makers - is possible again is a great relief for us, as it promotes the further development of the entire industry.

A lot has also happened at our company in recent months. The topic of sustainability continues to occupy us. Our PV system supplied us with environmentally friendly energy on many sunny days. In June, we were even able to record a climate-neutral day for the first time and cover our electricity requirements entirely with self-generated energy. We have already come a long way, but we have more plans - you can be excited!

Our product portfolio has also continued to develop. Our rod network belts with carriers now offer even more flexibility. Thanks to the 3D printing process, these can be ordered for any rod mesh belt dimension, and individual shapes and colours are now also possible.


Sharing joy and hope

The past few months have been challenging for many people and certainly not always easy. The Advent weeks are the time when we are not only aware of our privileges, but also think of all those who are less fortunate. This is why we are making our traditional Christmas donation this year to Asante e. V. The association arranges school sponsorships for children in the Tiwi region of Kenya, organises and distributes meals and covers the costs of medical treatment.


Outlook for 2024

However, the upcoming turn of the year is also a reason and opportunity to venture a cautious outlook for the coming months. The global situation remains volatile, but we remain optimistic. As a company, we are excited to see what the new year 2024 has in store for us - because we have a lot planned! We will of course be attending a number of trade fairs again. Make a note of the dates now:

  • CFIA in Rennes, France, 12-14.03.24
  • Anuga Foodtec in Cologne, 19-22 March 2024
  • Gulfood Manufacturing in Dubai, 05.-07.11.2024
