How did you decide to apply to Märtens and what convinced you?

I have always been enthusiastic about crafts and knew the profession of industrial mechanic through my father and through friends. One of them was working at Märtens at the time and I had also already become aware of the company online. Then I did a one-day internship and felt at home right away.

  • How was your start in working life at Märtens?

Great, I settled in quickly because my colleagues always took care of me and showed me everything and helped me. There was also a great get-to-know-you excursion with the whole department.

  • What are your tasks?

I help to manufacture machines or parts of machines for our own production. In addition, sprockets for our customers' systems also come from our workshop.

  • Is there anything you would have expected differently?

I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to take on responsibility so quickly and create and implement my own designs for projects.

  • What do you enjoy most about working at Märtens?

The versatility and my colleagues. The cooperation is harmonious, we also have fun sometimes and do things together in private. I feel like going to work every day.

  • Would you recommend Märtens for an apprenticeship?

"Yes, I would start here again at any time. The tasks are varied, the working atmosphere and the working hours are good. In addition, one has a one-year takeover guarantee after graduation. "

Does that sound good?

There are currently still places available at Märtens for the start of training in 2022 - including a brand new apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d). The main contents are electrical engineering, mechanics, control engineering and computer science.
