The first trade fair highlights 2024

Anuga FoodTec and the CFIA

March was a busy month, as the first trade fairs of the year were on the programme. Our team first travelled to Rennes and a few days later to Cologne.

The CFIA is one of the most important trade fairs for the agricultural and food industry. This time, exhibitors and visitors travelled to the Breton capital Rennes to find out about and exchange information on the latest trends in ingredients, processes and packaging.

The Märtens conveyor belts team then travelled to Cologne to attend Anuga FoodTec. The international supplier trade fair for the food and beverage industry only takes place every three years and sets standards in the industry every time. It is the only trade fair in the world to cover all aspects of food production - and of course a company like ours can't miss it!

These were the main topics of conversation

Both trade fairs were a complete success for us! Our colleagues were able to hold numerous interesting discussions. Of course, visitors were particularly interested in our variable expanding conveyor systems and the various conveyor belts made of metal or plastic. There were also many enquiries about our cooling channel and fluoroscopic belts. The latter are made of transparent silicone, translucent fabric and a nubbed surface, making them ideal for use with picking robots in packaging lines.

Put under the microscope: Exhibits

There were also plenty of exhibits at our trade fair stands that attracted a lot of attention. We had our variable expansion system, a rod network belt curving system and rod network belts with different tip geometries and carriers from the 3D printer with us.

We would like to thank our colleagues on site as well as all visitors and customers for the varied and successful days at the trade fair!
